Mark your calendar on October 3rd, and attend the presentation of the 2012 Raleigh Medal of Arts to the Philharmonic Association. The ceremony honoring the PA?s ?extraordinary contribution to the arts? will take place in the Fletcher Opera Theatre at 7:00 pm.
The Philharmonic Association?is very honored to be joining the ranks of other illustrious medalists such as the North Carolina Symphony, Raleigh Chamber Music Guild, NC Master Chorale (as Raleigh Oratorio Society) and the Raleigh Ringers. The Triangle Youth Philharmonic has been invited to perform at the ceremony. This is an award recognizing everyone who has been involved in making the PA a vibrant part of the cultural life in our community: all the founding musicians,?alumni and?current participants, the staff, the volunteers and Board members, donors and patrons, and community arts partners. Come and celebrate with us on October 3!
